Glow at the Gardens is an event put on by Denver Botanical Gardens. His Lordship and I attended on Wed. October 23rd.
This is the spider tunnel. It was beautiful and very well done.
My favorite part was the camp skeleton. A wonderful black light skeleton display of skeleton partaking in all the wonderful outdoor activities Coloradans love so much - hiking, camping, bird watching, and boating.
The scarecrow fields were fantastic. In the center was the headless horseman. On first approach, we thought it was a static prop. But then it move, startling us all.The Woodland Witches were pretty cool.
Of course, there were pumpkins. Lots and lots of pumpkins.
The pumpkins sculptures were amazing - 10 foot tall and very detailed.
So spectacularly awesome! If this doesn't get people in the mood for Halloween, I don't know what will!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly got me in a spooky frame of mind - but that is not much of a challenge.
DeleteFantastic display. The amount of work that must have gone into this is incredible.
ReplyDeleteSo much work - I saw the volunteers turning out lights at the end of the evening. It was gonna take hours.
DeleteVery impressive. Those pumpkin sculptures are really cool. Love that werewolf.
ReplyDeleteNo foam either - these are all real pumpkins.
DeleteBeautiful post
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a massive amount of pumpkins. Love the tunnel too.
ReplyDeleteI have often pondered how they get them all carved and how I can get in on the action.
DeleteI love the spider tunnel.
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful and they use a webbing that won't entangle birds.
DeleteI like the tunnel and the field of pumpkins.
ReplyDeletePumpkins as far as the eye could see.
DeleteThe scarecrows are definitely my favourite! Genuinely spooky!
ReplyDeleteYes that is my kind of scarecrow.
