Halloween in March

His Lordship and I stopped by our favorite garden center to buy seeds for the upcoming season and I was amazed at the macabre merchandise on display.  I thought bunnies and pastels would be taking center stage.

Yay for Halloween all year long!

  2. I saw a question from a kid the other day. Which came first, seeds or plants?

    1. Plants - seeds are a fairly late addition on the evolutionary time scale.

  3. I'm a firm supporter of Halloween all year long. Now I want to go to my own garden center to see if they have any spooky stuff. I doubt it. But a wild woman can dream, right? Also, a wild woman needs some more seeds. 😁

    1. I hope you find some spooky treasures. What are you gonna plant this year?

    2. I'm planning to plant sunflowers and wildflowers for the bees. Also, pepper and tomato (I plant those every year). I'm considering some corn. I haven't plant corn in years, so it might be fun. My terrace is tiny, so just a plant or two of each.

    3. Good luck with all of that. The bees will be so pleased.

  6. Hey, if stores can push their Christmas stuff all the way out to October, Halloween should be able to extend forward to March.

    1. I am beginning to see the dark aesthetic everywhere, like it is not just for Halloween.
