The Manitou Spring Heritage Center annual Ghost Tours are in full swing. Partnering with TheatreD'art again this year, the tours are fabulous. The cast has written all new scripts and skits, choosing to highlight original tales. His Lordship and I were lucky enough to go on the dress rehearsal and we has a great time. The tour is funny with a new route, a jump scare, and Emma Crawford as the queen of the spirit realm. I loved it. His Lordship reckons it with sell out of the 1400 ticket slot. That distinguished British man speaking in the video is my better half. Not to brag but he's kind of a cutie.
Here are some pictures from the tour. Below is our spirit guide. She died in a skiing accident on her honeymoon and has been searching for her lost love Harold ever since. She was incredibly cute, funny and had the uncanny ability to walk backward.
This is Emma Queen of the spirit realm. She tried to keep us there for all eternity but luckily our guide prevailed and we came back to the world of the living.
This is Emma sister Alice, an actress. She gave a brilliant performance with a fun bit of audience participation.
Well hopefully I have persuaded one or two of you to visit Manitou Springs at Halloween to take in a ghost tour.
