Recently we had a little visit from my niece and her husband. We took them camping to the stunning Taylor Reservoir. From there headed to Crusty Butt aka Crested Butte for the day.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the town brimming with personality. We found a lovely little taco place called Bonez. I had a scrummy, very spicy tofu taco.
The restaurant was full of bespoke, upcycled art work like that skull below that was made from, among other things, car bumpers and headlights. I was about 4 foot tall.
This skeleton riding a bike was mounted over the door.
These two little beauties were perched on the second story enjoying a beverage.
We could not resist the opportunity to have our wait staff take our picture.
It is a fun place in a beautiful setting with a great
bony vibe.
Looks like a fun place to go eat!
ReplyDeleteSuper drinks too - lots of fun margaritas!
Delete"Crusty Butt," LOL! And what a cool restaurant! But surely, with a name like "Bonez" it should have been a ribs joint, not tacos?
ReplyDeleteHa ha - good point!
DeleteTaylor Park earthen dam built in 1935. You don't live downstream from this do you?
ReplyDeleteNope.
DeleteLooks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! Love when restaurants embrace darker elements.
ReplyDeleteWell you know it attracted me with the darker theme and tacos and margaritas are usually a safe bet.
