All through the month of October, the Manitou Springs Heritage Center is hosting Ghost Tours on Friday and Saturday Nights. This year like last year, they are pairing with another nonprofit, the THEATERdART. As tours were cancelled last year after the first week due to rising covid cases, it sure was nice to see everything back on schedule.
We went on an early tour to hear the spooky tales of Manitou's past. Here are some fun pictures of the actors doing their thing.
Tonight is the last night for the tours. In celebration and thanks, the cast is invited to the Haunted Parlor for pizza and drinks. One more chance to light the haunt!
Looks terrific! I haven't been on a ghost tour for at least 5-6 years. The last one I went on was at the Citadel fortress in Halifax.
ReplyDeleteWe have really bumped this one up by using actors rather than high school kids. It is a lot more professional, well produced, and written. They have even added better lighting and a sound system.
DeleteThat plague doctor is SWEET!!!
ReplyDeleteI will tell him you think so.
DeleteThey all look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteyes they did a good job.
DeleteThere are lots of ghost tours in the UK' but not nearby, as far as I know. But there's a tour about Mary Shelley which I intend to go to next year. And we have our Scarecrow Festival of course.
ReplyDeleteYes I have been on the haunted underground tour in Edinburgh. It was a lot of fun.
