Masks!
The malice some people feel about masks amazes me. What is the big deal? Sure they are hot and uncomfortable but so are pants and nobody is suggesting walking around without those. It seems to me that it comes down to what kind of a person you are - do you want to spread the virus around or don't you? Because that is what a mask does - it keeps us from spreading it to others. And if you going to wear one do it properly. I am amazed at how often I see this:

DeleteSometimes crisis brings out the best in people and sometimes it brings out the stupid. I’ve also seen people pull their masks down every time they talk. The best I’ve seen so far has been a person using the neck of their shirt to cover their face which resulted in a repeated ballet of touching things, then touching their face as they pulled the collar up, which fell every time they let go to touch something and a person wearing a large ziplock bag over their head.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really don’t get is the people who promoted a drug that was unproven to be effective, mocking the use of masks because they are “unproven to be effective”.
Also that is the saddest cartoon peen I have ever seen. I don’t know why but the word “Presidential” comes to mind.
Ha ha - you never cease to crack me up. I agree - it is one sad little tiny todger. But you know some are show - ers and others are growers so perhaps it the later. It does not say a lot about the American general public that we can't wear a mask. No wonder we are leading the world in cases and deaths.
