While browsing Habitat for Humanity recently (ain't it great to be vaccinated), I ran across this little beauty for $4.00.
Halloween is still a half a year away so I thought it would be fun to add this succulent. Then I could have it out all year long and not look like a weirdo. Ooops - I forgot it is to late to avoid that.
You're right. Only five months till Halloween. I wonder how it will be this year--if celebrating will be safe.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it's all good.
DeleteThe plant is a good excuse to have the pumpkin out. And to confuse people you can turn the pumpkin around every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteYou're right Mike - if I turned it around the neighbors would be none the wiser.
DeleteHey, go for it. After the year we've all had, you're entitled to get an early start on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteYes Halloween is what I need to pull me from the doldrums.
DeleteJack looks great with his succulent hair!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of trying other plants too for different hair styles.
DeleteThat's a great discovery! Last year, around July, I nearly got a free jack o'lantern in ceramic, when I got for my son a Thomas the tank engine railway station second handed. The jack was in the garden next to the station, the lady who was selling it yo us offered me the jack as a freebie. Not sure why I declined the offer. I regret it to this day.
ReplyDeleteAh - the one that got away.
DeleteGreat find! Pumpkins are year round at our house and the neighbors know I am weird. I am getting nervous about Halloween projects and not having enough time. Working on a small cemetery for the side yard this year.
