At the very edge of OCC (Old Colorado City) and the downtown Colorado Springs sits one of the weirdest pieces of sculpture in town.
This bizarre tentacled sea witch called Iscariot appears to be in swimming through air from a rooftop. I think those webbed fingers are to cool. You can read the story of who and how she was created here.
Oh, she's a "mermapus" according to the article . . . I like the term "sea witch" instead. But she's awesome, no matter what she's called!

DeleteThat is truly amazing I could stare at that for hours.
ReplyDeleteIt is on top of a building along an overpass so it is hard to stop and photograph. I had to park all the way down the street and walk back. It really does catch my eye as I am driving.
