Last night was the annual ghost tours of Manitou Springs. His Lordship and I attended with our guests Baby M and Son of Nell plus Judy and Craig. But more about that later. Today I want to post about a few more skeletons that have popped up.
This is the skeleton for the Carnegie Library - it is very similair to what they did last year.
The Legrande Accents Boutique has an beautiful underwater scene with skeleton mermaid. Love the jelly fish and all the vegetation. She wears a crown of shells and a macramé tail. I shall have to try to get better photographs.
Piramide has put a skeleton in more of their fine clothes.
At the MAC, this skeleton is standing on their oversized childrens desk. I am not really sure what it is - a magician, fortune teller, or a psychic? What's your guess?
The Heritage Center has this display of a skele reaching for - what else? His pets.
I absolutely love the skeleton mermaid.
ReplyDeleteYes - I think she is my favorite thus far.
DeleteThe skelly mermaid is fantastic! And I think that's a fortune teller skelly because of the crystal ball.
ReplyDeleteOk good deduction - I was not sure if that was a ball or a globe or what the fu@* it was.
DeleteSo even skeleton dogs like to chew on bones?

I know they like models to be really thin, but.....
Great collection. The town is keeping its spirit alive even despite losing the coffin races.

DeleteSorry had to delete the last comment. Proofreading is not my long suite. Those models - there is not an ounce of fat on them. We are keeping the spirit alive and despite the pandemic, with our mask order, our cases are relatively low. I have yet to see a skeleton in a mask!
DeleteThat makes sense -- it's the people who don't wear masks who are likely to begin their careers as skeletons sooner than the rest of us.....
