Out of the Closet

That's right - no skeletons in our closets.  Here in Manitou Springs, we let them all out to play.

Anna's Apothecary, a superb store, has a trio of Macbeth witches dancing around a smoking cauldron.

Patsy's Candies dressed their skeleton in a cave man outfit. They labelled it "don't touch" because their skeleton lost an arm last year.
Manitou Outpost and Gallery snuck Where's Waldo in the corner of the shop window.
The new Armadillo Ranch has a tribute to The Grateful Dead.
Swirl Wine Bar has their skeleton outside opening a wine bottle with its teeth.
I like that umbrella.

The Twin Bears did a super cute take on Goldilocks.
I also love that they replace all their mannequin heads with pumpkins.
The Avenue Hotel just keeps expanding their display.  Skeletons are appearing daily.  The pictures below were taken over two weeks.

Closer to us, pals Doug and Annie have set up this fabulous skeleton in one of Doug's salvaged trucks.
They have two business on site: the nonprofit Flying Pig Farm and the Keithly Pines Cabins.
