This is the beautiful skeleton at Anna's, covered in herbs. Anna makes all her own products out of herbs she grows. It is a very nice store.
The folks at Salus also make all their own products - soap, shower bombs, body lotions etc. They painted their window to make it look like their skeleton is taking a shower. I think it is a great idea!
The folks at Totally Nuts gave this fellow the best seat in the house.
Manitou Flowers has many skeletons dressed as organic witches. I love their flowered draped ideas.
The gorgeous Miramont Castle Museum has a lovely Victorian skeleton sitting on the stoop.
Cherokee's of Manitou is an art shop that also sells artisan cheeses. Their skeleton is a French artist who is enjoying some cheese with friends.
I'm really enjoying this lol. It's interesting your town has calibrated together for Halloween. It really apeals to my sense of humour
ReplyDeleteIt surprised me how many businesses got on board with the project!
DeleteThese are all so creative and imaginative! Special kudos to the showering skelly, hiker skelly, witch hat skelly and French skelly with rat!
ReplyDeleteIt is a town of the creative and imaginative - the crazier the better. We are affectionately known as Hippie Mayberry. Our slogan is "Keep Manitou Weird".
DeleteIt definitely sounds like my kinda place!
DeleteKeep Manitou Weird - that's excellent. Bwahahaha.
ReplyDeleteThis post brought a smile to my face. I love seeing skeletons being posed around. And now there are all these neat skeleton accessories and critters, like the pirate's parrot and the little mice. I'm hoping to get my hands on some of those skeleton critters this year.
ReplyDeleteI was in Manitou Springs as a kid and posed for one of those old time photos with my mom and grandma. You know, where they give you those props like a big hat or a parasol. Nice memories!
So glad you visited. It has not changed much.
