Haunted Parlor is up and running

My house decorations are almost finished.  Here are some pictures.  I apologize because they look a lot like last years. Featured are the witch cabinets, hall tree, additions to the little Halloween tree and various other bits and bobs.

    1. When I put a little translucent colored liquid in the jars, the backlighting is cool.

  5. I love all of it! And really - I can't remember if it looks the same as last year or not. It's all brand new to me! LOL

I like that little rat in the middle shelf - he's pretty adorable. And the shadows made by that lantern! I bet you sit in that room all the time with the lights off just to look at it, don't you? :)

    1. I was debating whether I should go to one of Manitou's two legal marijuana outlets and get myself a cookie and then just sit in the toilet all day looking at that lantern! Thanks so much!

  8. Fantastic! You do up Halloween right!

To answer your question on my blog, I got the images of the witch jars from Calvin's Canadian Cave of Coolness. I suspect he got them from Tumblr somewhere. So your only hope may be to do a google image search of them and see if their point of origin shows up there. Sorry!

  9. Wow! Look at all these great decorations! I love that spider web lantern. I'm surprised at how many cool shadows that casts. I've admired some decorative Halloween lanterns in the stores before, but I didn't know they were capable of this much! Looks like you have multiple lights going in there.

    1. nope - just one led strobe light from spirit superstore bought after Halloween last year. I found the lantern at an antiques store for $5.
