This is the Oogie Boogie themed drink with gin. The glowing green color and dice at the bottom of the glass were nice effects.
The food menu was a real disappointment. During Beetlejuice, they offered a delicious Thai inspired ramen. This time the vegan option was a cabbage salad without the cabbage (they did not have cabbage in stock). I don't think my omnivore family was that impressed either. Next time, we will stick to the drinks.
Looks great! Too bad about the food.
ReplyDeleteThe decor is impressive, and I assume the place was free of celebrity Christmas carols. But I can't imagine a cabbage salad with no cabbage.
ReplyDeleteThe glowing green drink is exactly the same shade of green as uranium glass. I hope their cabbages weren't all killed by radiation.
The playlist was interesting - lots of songs that had a dark spin - punk, rock, emo kind of stuff. In the end, they ended up modifying the spinach salad to leave the cheese off. They grilled some mushroom instead and topped with those.
DeleteThe green drink looks like it was dipped out of a nuclear reactor pool.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask what the radiation level on the drink was.
