His Lordship and I went to do some more fall camping.
We started at the gorgeous Sangre De Cristo Wilderness on the North Crestone Trail near the hippy hamlet of Crestone. We hiked about 2 1/2 miles in until the trail opened up onto a beautiful view of Fluted Peak and Mount Adams.
Here is my dorky self excited that I have finished climbing and now only have to go back down.
We camped at the gorgeous O'Haver lake where we scored a campsite with a view and heard a great horned owl.
Sunrise at lovely O'Haver Lake. Colorado really is this beautiful.
Such spectacularly beautiful scenery! You are blessed to live where you do.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning place! And how happy I am to hear that you've been hiking. That is beyond wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your moments (specially that bright smile) with us.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you in the parlor - thanks for visiting.
DeleteI should steal all these for next weeks Thursday trees!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteLooks beautiful, and you can't beat the colors of an Aspen tree. We have yet to change colors here in Missouri and many times just go straight to winter brown. :(
ReplyDeleteSome aspen can be a disappointing brown but others are like gold on the hillside.
