More Stuff to Throw

I did something smart last year(not a common occurence). I made a list of things I needed for my haunt and put it on the fridge.  I find the fridge is the greatest of organizers as multiple times a day, I am starring at it.  So "rugs for my haunt" was not allowed to fall into obscure recesses of my brain but actually stayed in the forefront.  This year I found a lot of choice,  Usually they are all coir which I avoid because it disintegrates after a few years.  But these all have rubber backs.

This one is from JoAnn's - It has a motif that they are using in a decor line this year.

These next three were from At Home.  It was hard to decide between the three so I bought them all.

I have wood floors so little "throw" rugs for wet dirty shoes are a must.

  1. Lovely! My faves are the two which feature poison. My fridge door looks like a jumbled bulletin board of notes, receipts, magnets and assorted sticky notes. And I've also reached the age where every passing thought MUST be written down or it's gone with the wind in about 10 seconds.

    1. I know - I love the poison in the kitchen. It makes a statement about my cooking! I hear you - old brain syndrome is definitely something I suffer from.

  2. I really like that first one (Haunted house). They should do one in Ouija design. Or would it be disrespectful to wipe your feet on the spirits?

    1. I guess it would depend on the spirit - after all some people spend their whole lives as "doormats".

  3. I learned a new word today, coir. I'd never heard that before. Now I have to recover, time for a nap.

  4. Those rugs are awesome! I'll need to try and find something similar for outside my door!

    1. Is Halloween growing in popularity in the UK the way it has in the US?
