Blucifer

The Denver airport is the center of a whole host of crazy conspiracy theories from creepy artwork to the illuminati.  I personally have flown through there many times and can say it is just an airport.

Blucifer is perhaps the most interesting of the conspiracies.  It is a 32 foot tall fiberglass blue mustang sculpture. It is impossible to miss as you pass it driving into the airport on Pena' Boulevard. It has glowing red eyes, popping red veins, larger than life privates and a bizarre history.  During the making of the statue, a piece of it fell on the artist,  Luis Jimenez, and severed an artery in his leg.  This resulted in him bleeding to death.  The blue mustang was then completed by his family and friends.  It was placed at the airport in 2008 and still stands to this day despite being creepy.  My biggest beef is that the front legs are different lengths and if he would ever stop rearing, he would have a beast of a time walking.

  1. I couldn't find any pictures with a person standing next to the statue. It's hard to get a perspective of how tall it is since it's in the middle of nowhere.
