Why are Easter Bunny Costumes so sinister?
Love the chocolate zombie bunny!
ReplyDeleteI would like to get one of those in my basket. It would have to be vegan of course.
DeleteGawd, these will ALL make an appearance in my nightmares tonight. THANKS, Lady M!
ReplyDeleteHee hee - always glad to provide fodder for your night terrors.
DeleteHaunting and diabolical images indeed. Your photo taken in Manitou looks like a Halloween-worthy monster ready to pounce on its prey.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide whether the eyes visible in the fourth panel of the first image are themselves evil, or a doomed soul just about to vanish down the abomination's gullet.
It's odd that bunny costumes seem so sinister when bunnies are so innocuous, but even Easter eggs can be made evil.
We had a bunny once who was an evil creature so I have seen their dark side
DeleteI like the second picture. She's a cutie.
ReplyDeleteYou like them toothy Mike?
DeleteBunnies can be scary. I remember a horror story where hares were featured as shape-shifting witches. And in alone folklore seeing a hare cross the road before you is ill omen.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
