Front Gates

This year we chose to fence the front yard to prevent the mule deer from eating the landscaping.  It is a tough place to garden but at least the gates look great.  They are perfect for a little Halloween signage.  The cemetery will go up October 1st.

    1. It's comprised of a bat door knocker I found ages ago and a styrofoam cemetery sign thrifted this year. Both are attached cable ties. I am very pleased with how they turned out.

  2. Love the gates/fence. Both practical for your yard's needs year round and happen to be perfect for a yard haunt too! We use to own that same "Keep Out" sign and used it for haunts at our prior house back in the day: https://flic.kr/p/2jJRzSh

    1. Can't remember where I got it - Target perhaps or Michaels? Do you remember?

    2. It was at least 16 years ago so it's hard to say, but Target or Michael's would be the most likely. Can't believe we've been doing an annual yard haunt on Halloween for the past 23 years. Time flies!

  3. Love it. It's great to be functional but keep a little halloween vibe year round.

    1. That's right. So far the mule deer have not jumped it.
