It is tons of fun to be able to cut glass. It is so easy I should have owned a glass cutter years ago. It has allowed me to make little repairs to some of my Halloween favorites like these little metal votive holders acquired from Target a decade ago. The glass had broken and they were kind of blah until now:
I don't know if I'd be brave enough to use a glass cutter.
