No it wasn't always this drooling, slobbering kiss ass.
Back in the day, man's best friend was a creature that truly earned that title through millennia of hard work and sacrifice.
"Look back at our struggle for freedom,
Trace our present day's strength to its source;
And you'll find that man's pathway to glory
Is strewn with the bones of the horse."

So today I celebrate the horse! Not just any horse - the best horse in the world. Here he is: Liathach the wonder horse. That name is pronounced Lee ock. If you've ever been to the west coast of Scotland, then you know from whence it comes.
He's a fine beast who loves his groceries and treats
Liathoch makes a fine, FINE unicorn! Looking forward to learning more about him!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I will let him know.
DeleteLovely horse. Reminds me of Pacho, the horse of my very first horse and carriage ride.
ReplyDeletePacho is probably his cousin.
DeleteYeah I'm with Liathach pigs are terrifying
ReplyDeleteI am having to move him to a new barn at the end of the month because the pigs have messed up his mojo.
DeleteGood -- even if the coffin races were canceled, at least you'll have a unicorn.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about man's best friend, but for thousands of years horses were man's best weapon. The domestication of the horse revolutionized warfare. Liathach doesn't seem like the warrior type, though -- even with a horn.
Can't blame him for his fear of pigs. Pigs can be dangerous.
Yes - I cannot see him riding into battle. All the opposing army would have to do was bring some pigs and his nerve would fail him.
DeleteHe is handsome. Husbands family always had horses. They are amazing. Had no idea how much land came with your haunted mansion.
ReplyDeleteI have to board him remotely. Still Sept. 30, I am moving him about 8 minutes away versus 30 so I ought to be able to spend more time with him and burn less fossil fuels.
