Skeleton Craze 2018

Skeletons have begun appearing around Manitou Springs.  Some popular favorites from last year have returned as well as very creative newcomers.

Lane Mitchell Jewelers have outdone themselves  with their Queen of Diamonds.  The store owners said they did a lot of hand sewing to make her possible.  They are in it to win it.

Captain Custard, the crowd favorite from last year, has returned with his son and dog at the Colorado Custard Company.

The Thirteen Trees Coffee shop, a new business, has really embraced the spirit of Halloween with a skeleton of a miner and lots of other decor.

Most of their decorations are homemade.  I love it!

Whickerbill, owned by our neighbors Gwenn and Randy, have really taken Halloween to a new level with a whopping 4 skeletons in the shop.  Their shop window is amazing. 

 I could not leave there empty handed so purchased a great Eat, Drink and Be Scary tea towel with those dancing skeletons of which I am so fond.
