Gordman's Picture frame find

Remember last year when I snuck to Gordman's (without his Lordships knowledge) to buy these pictures half price post Halloween?  Well, I found the almost perfect frame for one at the ARC resale shop.  "Almost" because my picture was an inch to long!  So his Lordship and I peeled back the canvas and lopped off the end! It now fits in what I feel is a perfect frame - no need to make over this one.  Take a look:

Now my other picture ain't so swell as I made this frame from old baseboard.  It will need a complete makeover.

    1. Yes - I love the way that frame picks up the warm tones of that picture, even if it did lose on inch.

  2. Maybe you'll get lucky and find the mate to the first one the next time you go to the resale shop! Wouldn't that be nice. :)

    1. I feel the first one was a one of a kind - old frame from the 1950's - handmade in Fort Worth Texas. Still, I will keep looking at resale shops for another equally cool frame but just not sure that will happen this year. Busy, busy, busy. Great to hear from you and to see you back in the blog world Lynne. I know you have been crazy busy with you interior decorating. I am waiting excitedly to see your creations!
