So I have lots of crafts to complete for this Halloween this year. One projects I have intended to do for years is repaint these gargoyles. I hate the factory finish on this pair - it is so pathetic. So I finally sat down and gave them a coat of black paint, followed by dry brush with gray, white and off white. A little antiquing wax and they are ready for display in the haunted parlor.
They're super!
ReplyDeleteSo good! and you make it seem so easy.
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody - glad they get the blogger stamp of approval.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a difference! There's actually some pretty nice stuff out there in the Hallowe'en section, if you can manage to look past the crappy finish most of them sport. Nicely done, lady M! :D
ReplyDeleteI agree - a new paint job does wonders for a crappy prop!
DeleteI hope His Lordship is okay!!
