I love it! Where are you planning to put your monster in a box? I bet the trick-or-treaters would appreciate seeing it on the porch!
For my party he will stay under the sideboard. Not sure about Halloween night.
The blinking eyes really make it work!
Those are some cheap eyes meant for a pumpkin that I picked up after Halloween last year. I make a cardboard back that not only holds the eyes but props the box open as well. A coat of black paint and it disappears into the box.
