The competition is fierce

Just a few snaps from around Manitou Springs to show you the skeleton competition is fierce.  Here are only four of the entries - there are many more!
The Tracy Miller Gallery has this fine artistic Chap.

Manitou Outpost and Gallery is displaying a well dressed biker.

Pikes Peak Chocolate has this skele hugging the ice cream cone and carrying Yoda on its back.

Here's my favorite so far by the La Henna Boheme Boutique - what a gorgeous entry!

Unfortunately, the winner will be decided by popular vote which means our  little Heritage Center does not stand a chance.  We are situated about 2 blocks east of the strip and just don't get near the foot traffic that everyone else does.  Still his Lordship and I plan to stuff the ballot box!  I have lots more of these to show you as the month progresses!

  5. You might not get the traffic but what a great idea. Can you make a map next year pointing people to all of the displays? Never the less this looks like great fun.
