monster in the trunk

Remember how I was trying to decide what to do with these flashing eyes I picked up for pennies in post Halloween sales?  Enter "monster in a trunk".  Since Madam Toll will be reading Tarot cards upstairs, I had to move this trunk to the dungeon to make space.

For the monster, I cut some eye holes in a flattened cardboard box.  I then painted the box black and stapled some gorilla hands to it. An old piece of wood trim holds the trunk slightly ajar and voila' "monster in the trunk".  Baby M hates these gorilla hands - they always give her the creeps.

    3. Well if you do a google search, spoopy and creppy are Halloween misspellings that have become internet memes in their own right. My daughter and I like to laugh about them in our own introverted weird way.

  5. Simple but very effective. It reminds me of the Creepshow thing in the crate.
