Bandwagon jumper

I normally don't jump on the latest internet death and declare how much I will miss a performer.  Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Whitney Houston - I wasn't really a fan so their deaths touched me as much as you explaining that your Great Uncle Joe just passed.

But David ... now he is another story.  He has been one of my favorites since about the age of 14.  I loved his music.  I loved the way he influenced other artist's music.  At 16,  my pal Debbie Franke and  I declared him God.  He was awesome.  So below is a little sharing of some of my favorites, not in any particular order, so I can recall all the joy his music brought to me.

Goodbye wonderful man.  I will miss you.

  1. While not one of my favorite artists, definitely a great musician with a great impact in the music world. He will be missed. As I get older, the passing of these stars of my youth certainly make me feel sad and that much older. No "Space Oddity"?

    1. It was hard to choose. Space oddity makes top 15 for me but not top 4. It does make one feel old.
