Merry Creepmas!

Creepmas Day 1

Hello Blog readers - as you have probably surmised, I am taking part in Creepmas this year. My first offering is this little Creepmas Calendar, adapted from a Starbucks advent calendar I saved, oh so many years ago.  I took a razor blade to the 25 boxes and hacked, sliced, and severed my way to 13.  Then covered the mangled remains in decoupage papers.  I have placed little gift inside to open each day. His Lordship has even joined in the fun, filling one of my boxes. Ooops- that definitely could be construed as having a naughty double meaning - wink, wink.

So let's see what's in the first box?  As if I did not know.  Oh look, its a really spooky spider ring.  Happy first day of Creepmas!

It's just fabulous - Perfect for Creepmas!

  2. Such a cute idea! And I love how you've painted your nails for that "fresh-dipped" look.

  7. Love your nails! I don't ever remember seeing an advent calendar at Starbucks up here. I think I might have actually bought it if I had! Although I certainly like your version probably much better than I would have liked the original. ;)

    1. It was cute - had little chocolates in the boxes. I saved it thinking I would reuse it someday as an advent calendar. I love your new post, by the way. Still can't comment but just wanted to say that I was sorry you were sick for your Birthday - especially Friday the 13th birthday and a milestone at that. I hope everyone missed you sufficiently and drank many toasts to your good health. Your presents are awesome. I dig that really big knife. My daughters room was like an abyss too. A great dark hole from which no light could escape. Alas, she has moved out and we just changed the abyss into a little office. I would gladly change it back.

    2. Gah! I don't know what else I can do to fix it so you can comment, lady M! Do you get any error messages or anything?

I'm terrified of that knife. I suppose I'll have to start wearing a belt so I can carry it with me on walks. Hah, right. Probably going in the car for when I run across roadkill I decide I need parts from. That sounds awful doesn't it?

I know that even while I'm cursing the youngest cause she's filled the upstairs bath too full and water is pouring down through the kitchen cabinets, I'll probably miss her when she gone again, too. Hah, right. No, I probably will. ;)

    3. What I get is a big white box that has no publish button and that does not allow me to type. I can reply however. So perhaps you could start me off by commenting - something like "I know you've got something to say Lady M so out with" then I can tell you all the things I like about your post like skinning road kill - you're one tough cookie.
